Book – If Tomorrow Comes by Sidney Sheldon

Genre – Crime Fiction

“Never again would she be that naive.”

Book Review –

This book was written in 1985 and has so easily and brilliantly highlighted the fact that women are no less than any men in this universe.
Tracy Whitney, one of the most fantastic heroine and most imaginative story. A beautiful woman living her normal life was soon to get married to a perfect man but who knew what life had to offer her.

Tracy is sent to jail for a crime she didn’t even commit. Going through things any women would never even dare to imagine she was firm that she can’t spend her rest of the life in that man-made hell. Ending her marriage before it started, betrayal from the man she was about to get married, going to jail for no reason, being bullied, pregnancy, failing to escape, being targeted and what not.
She had already made up her mind that she won’t let go on all those people who cheated and made her life happy life miserable. Ultimately, she turned out to be a con woman who steals money from people who are ‘not-so-good’ and has earned those money by wrong means.

Entering a life of hardship, deadly escapes, wealth and exploitation the novel will easily play with every nerve and you won’t even regret.

The plot twists, the sequence, the way she escapes every single obstacles, the way she thinks and plans her way out was so original, exciting and unpredictable that I fell in love with Tracy!
This book is really long but I never wanted this book to end. The transformation of a innocent lady to a witty, smart, strong and an independent woman was totally convincing and brilliant! It couldn’t have been any better!

Do not miss out on this novel. The vocabulary used is perfect. The way the suspense is build will leave you on the edge. The way Tracy hops out of deadly and pathetic situations will make you want to be like her – BRAVE & WITTY.

Few Quotes from If Tomorrow Comes –

• “There was an aura of dignity about her, a self-confidence that was alien to this place.”

• “I will survive. I face my enemies naked and my courage is my shield.

• “I love living on cutting edge of danger.”
